The test environment allows users to familiarise themselves with DataSHIELD and learn how to do some basic analysis prior to using DataSHIELD on live data. It mimics the real world setting where a user connects to remote servers which hold the data to analyse. After initial setup no internet is required to run the test environment.
The test environment comprises two Virtual Box virtual machines that contain the test Opal servers - complete with simulated data - to be run on your own computer.
