What is the purpose of these virtual machines?

These virtual machines use the concept of virtualisation to offer some DataSHIELD servers for several purposes. The latter are listed below:

  • to learn how to use DataSHIELD

  • to develop some server-side functions

  • to test some DataSHIELD functions

What do I need to do?

Before you can use any virtual machines, you will need to install DataSHIELD for data analysts (users) and developers.
