What is the purpose of these virtual machines?

These virtual machines use the concept of virtualisation to offer some DataSHIELD servers for several purposes. The latter are listed below:

• to learn how to use DataSHIELD

• to develop some server-side functions

• to test some DataSHIELD functions

What do I need to do?

Before you can use any virtual machines, you will need to install DataSHIELD for data analysts (users) and developers. Once you have installed all these elements and virtual box, any virtual machines can be download and imported within VirtualBox.
